What is Advanced Placement?

The College Board's Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies- with the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both- while still in high school.  AP exams are administered each year, in May.  A qualifying score (3-5) on an AP exam can typically earn students college credit and/or placement in advanced courses in college.

AP Readiness

In conjunction with LAUSD's Division of Equity, Access, and Acceleration and in partnership with the UCLA-LAUSD Collaborative, Washington Prep proudly participates in AP Readiness.  

January 23, 2021 is the next scheduled AP Readiness for Humanities courses.

January 30, 2021 is the next scheduled AP Readiness for STEM courses.
