George Washington Preparatory High School was founded in 1927. That year Charles Lindbergh completed the first solo air crossing of the Atlantic, the Harlem Globetrotters played their 1st game, Gutzon Borglum began sculpting Mt. Rushmore and telephone service was established between the US and Mexico for the first time. Much has changed in 90 years. To celebrate Washington Prep's rich history, volunteers have been scanning school yearbooks which can be found below. Please take a look and explore Washington's history and alumni. If you have a yearbook that you don't see posted here, please contact the school librarian Mr. Kuzmich, In order to share Washington Prep's history, we would be happy to scan and post your yearbook on the school website.
